Cyrus is an up & coming independent Canadian hip hop artist, and the founder of indie record label 'Media Uncensored Worldwide', which was officially (legally) established on July 2nd, 2021. 

He grew up in Toronto ON originally, (with stints in Victoria BC, Vancouver BC, and Ottawa ON); but has resided, (for the most part), in Pembroke ON since the age of 16. He got into a life of crime at a young age and spent almost a decade as a drug dealer, living reckless, in and out of jail, etc.. 

He became an alcoholic by the age of 16, then later an opioid/cocaine addict, was diagnosed with severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, PTSD, and Major Depressive Disorder, and eventually went into a downward spiral of substance abuse, stress, struggle, and sorrow.. while simultaneously getting himself more & more deeply entrenched within the criminal underworld. 

He finally hit rock bottom some time around 2014, (*his brother in the penitentiary for the same criminal activities Cyrus was still doing & under investigation for, impossibly dependent on opioids, shooting up every day, selling cocaine & opiates just to survive & keep the withdrawals away), and decided he had to change, as the inevitable conclusion could only have been further suffering and an early grave. 

He had no idea where it was going to lead, no clue if life was going to give him a second chance, not even a coherent plan or strategy; all he knew was that he was meant for something more, that he had to fight for his life and future, and that all he really had going for him besides underdeveloped talent & intelligence, was the fact that when he truly wanted or believed in something, there was nothing & no one that could EVER make him give up on it, (thanks to one of his greatest attributes, which Cyrus now refers to as 'TRUE GRIT').

Apparently that was all he ever really needed, because it carried him long enough to develop the other vital attributes like self-discipline, integrity, self-esteem, courage, etc.

He has spent nearly every day since learning, improving, and battling his various demons; in a RELENTLESS effort to escape his past and claw his way up from the deepest darkest hole, and finally emerge victorious... ready to take on whatever may come, and shoot for the stars.

In 2017 he decided he would follow his dream of becoming a successful rapper and record label owner, and has spent the past 6-7 years doing whatever necessary to learn the industry, develop his craft as an artist, and build the foundations of his future empire. 

Cyrus is currently working on several collaborative projects with other artists & producers, as well as his 2nd studio album entitled 'Relentless', (which has a projected Spring-2024 release date); and planning/booking/etc. for the upcoming season.

2024 is the year of CYRUS and GSG...
